We are a fully accredited Cycle Training Provider for Shropshire and pleased to offer our services for this much sought-after training to allow adults and children to get their legs turning. Instructors request the attendance of a parent or guardian when training children under the age of 18 during the course. We offer training under the National Cycling Strategy guidelines Bikeability. Cycle training can be done on levels 1, 2 and 3 for both adults and children to the National Standard. The National Standard is sponsored by the Department of Transport, Local Authority Road Safety Officers Association and cycling organisations such as Cycling Scotland, British Cycling, Sustrans and the Cyclist Touring Club. All sessions are one to one and are 60 mins inclusive at a cost of £25 per person for the first session, which includes FREE loan of a bicycle with helmet if required. They also include our Bikeability certificates for all levels once completed. Sessions can be booked one at a time and all subsequent sessions are £20 per session. We are also able to offer training based on 2 people sharing a session (upon agreement) and the costs are £40 (£20 each) for the first session and £30 per session after that. The following details will help you decide on which level you should consider starting with: Level 1 - Evaluation and initial training in a traffic-free area - good for absolute beginners and returners to cycling who need to brush up their skills. Level 2 - Traffic-free and on-road training schedule - after completing Level 1 you can move on to Level 2, also ideal for refreshers. Level 3 - On-road training schedule - available after completing Level 2 and for cyclist looking for confirmation of their ability.
