Booking your service means that we can ensure that you always have your bike when you need it. Depending on our workload, your bike will need to be with us for 2-3 days, sometimes less or maybe longer if it requires parts that we may not have in stock. We always update you via phone, text or email.
You do not have to book your bicycle in for servicing. You can just turn up when it is convenient for you and leave your bicycle with us and we will give you an approximate time when it will be ready.
We offer a "Can you just" service where a 15% surcharge is added to any of the pricing in the A La Carte menu. For those in a hurry and want things done while they wait or quicker than possible using standard booking in servicing during busy periods.
Regular servicing will ensure that your bicycle stays safe and comfortable. It will mean that you get the maximum life out of your components and it will help you plan for the replacement of parts as they wear out.
To make it easier for you to predict how much the work will cost we have a range of fixed charges for servicing and adjustments.
If the work required is a little more unusual then we charge an hourly rate of £30 per hour. Our minimum labour charge is £10. Unless specifically stated, these charges are for labour only, you will need to pay for parts on top. If parts are required to be replaced or repaired during any of the servicing, you just pay for the parts and you don't pay any more for labour
If your bicycle is muddy on booking in for servicing and we need to clean it so we can work on it, we will charge you an additional £5. There are FREE cleaning facilities at the Bicycle Hub which you can use to clean your bicycle on arrival.

Dr Bike

A 30 point health-check of your bicycle so that we can make recommendations for any work that you may need. It takes about 10 minutes so can be done if you are just passing the shop, although you may need to wait a bit longer at busy periods. You can of course call us to book a Dr Bike for when it's convenient for you.
