Q: Merida who?

A: Well it's the greatest production bike brand you've probably never heard of. It was founded 37 years ago and immediately began pushing manufacturing excellence. They began investing heavily in Germany in the late eighties and moved into the UK in a serious way in the late 90s.

They are a now a very significant bicycle company with world class R&D and cutting edge manufacturing facilities.

All this means they make great bikes, which manage to be both light and strong and really push the envelope for what is possible on production bicycles.
