We have a packed programme of special events throughout 2010.

These events come on top of our regular Hubbub rides, Brilliant Bicycle Basics classes, and Masterclasses. There is something for everyone whether you like to race, enjoy touring or just a gentle spin on your bike.

Outdoor First Aid Course Saturday 27th February 2010 28th February 2010
If you take part in outdoor activities, especially as a leader or organiser, this  course should give you exactly what you need. .	Organised in conjunction with Pura Vida First Aid Training

Daffodil Ride for Severn Hospice Sunday 28th March 0900hrs
Start at Bridgnorth or Ironbridge. Ride all the way and back (12 miles) or halfway and back (6 miles). It's flat, it's tranquil, it's one of the greatest routes in the country.	Severn Hospice is a registered charity no 512394

Wine Tours on Tandem Sunday 4th April 2010, Sunday 27th June 2010, Monday 30th August 2010 (always at 0900hrs)

Ladies Ride Sunday 5th June 2010 1100hrs lasts a couple of hours
Led by women, for women. A ride around low traffic routes and cycle paths.

Family Ride and Barbeque Saturday 12th June 2010 1800hrs ride up to 1 hr then BBQ
Always incredibly popular. Short, easy ride for all abilities. BBQ, and bicycling fun for the whole family. Suitable for absolutely every age and ability. If it’s got wheels and you can ride it you should be on it.

Off Road Ride Sunday 13th June 2010 1100hrs lasts around 3 hrs
You don’t need to travel all the way to Cannock. There is some amazing off-road fun to be had right on our doorstep. Come and find out what you're missing.

The Tandem Experience Festival Thurs 1st July – Sunday 4th July From 1800hrs on the Thursday to 1600hrs on the Sunday
Come to Bishops Castle and have more fun than you ever imagined possible on two wheels. Organised by our sister company the Tandem Experience. You don't even need a tandem. Click here for more information.

Cambrian Crusade in aid of the Severn Hospice Sat 31st July 2300hrs finishing around 0800hrs on 1st August

The Wrekin Bike Challenge Sun 22nd August 0900hrs lasts an hour (if you're quick)
Ride from Jackfield to Forest Glen. Run up and down the Wrekin. Ride back. Quick as you can. That's it

Build your skills and confidence on our bicycle maintenance courses.

One Sunday a month, the Bicycle Hub goes for a ride. We'd love you to come too. Lycra is NOT necessary.

Next ride: The next ride takes place on 18th  April 2010. It starts at 12 noon, location to be confirmed.  The ride will take about 3 hours. It is led by Paul.

We have special events in February and March.

All about the Hubbub Rides

The Hubbub Rides are social rides around circular routes ending at a pub or tea room. They last about three hours in the winter and four hours in the summer. We ride as a group so there is no danger of you getting lost (unless Nick is navigating in which case we'll all get lost). We ride at a steady pace and in stay in a group. We are out to enjoy the countryside, take in the scenery and admire the odd bird. We are not out to see how far or how fast we can go.

The Hubbub Rides are organised by members of the Bicycle Hub team. All you need to do is turn up and ride. The routes are always circular and start and end close to a pub or tea room.

You do not need to know what the route is because the rides are led and no-one gets left behind. If you are interested in the route, we publish them all on the Bicycle Hub section of the Route You web site.

Who should come on a Hubbub Ride

We welcome anyone on our rides. We think they would particularly suit you if you fancy doing a bit more cycling but never seem to have the time. How much it costs

It's free, there's no membership, no entry fee, nothing like that at all but it will help with our planning if you can let us know if you're thinking of joining us. We usually stop for a bite to eat or a drink after the ride. We'd love it if you could join us for that. We don't book tables so we have to play it by ear.
