Hubbubs, social led rides >

Hubbub1One a Sunday once a month (some times twice) a month, the Bicycle Hub goes for a ride. We'd love you to come too. Lycra is NOT necessary.

Next ride on lanes is: 21st August 2011. Starts at 0930hrs.  Led by Chris from Wenlock Edge - meet from 9am in the car park of The Wenlock Edge Inn.  See route here. and is about 28 miles

All about the Hubbubs

The Hubbub Rides are social rides around circular routes ending at a pub or tea room. They last about three hours in the winter and four hours in the summer. We ride as a group so there is no danger of you getting lost. We ride at a steady pace and in stay in a group. We are out to enjoy the countryside, take in the scenery and admire the odd bird. We are not out to see how far or how fast we can go.

The Hubbub Rides are organised by members of the Bicycle Hub team. All you need to do is turn up and ride. The routes are always circular and start and end close to a pub or tea room.

You do not need to know what the route is because the rides are led and no-one gets left behind. If you are interested in the route, we publish the route on the Route You web (except the off road rides) site.

Who should come on a Hubbub Ride

We welcome anyone on our rides. We think they would particularly suit you if you fancy doing aHubbub2 bit more cycling but never seem to have the time. If you've got any questions or have any concerns, give us a ring on 01952 883249, drop us a line to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , or come to The Bicycle Hub and talk to us in person.

How much it costs

It's free, there's no membership, no entry fee, nothing like that at all but it will help with our planning if you can let us know if you're thinking of joining us. We usually stop for a bite to eat or a drink after the ride. We'd love it if you could join us for that. We don't book tables so we have to play it by ear.

Future dates for Lane and Off road Rides

10th July - 9.00am start - led by Mark - Off road ride

17th July - 9.30pm start - led by Pete & Sarah - Lane ride

21st August - 9.30am start - Led by Chris - Lane ride

Why not put the dates of future Hubbub rides in your diary now, location and routes will be here a month before. facebook.com/thebicyclehub For up to date information on the ride.
