A 4 to 6 hour ride that leaves the Bicycle Hub in the Park on the NCN 55 down towards Coalport where you join Coalport High Street by the Youth Hostle. Turn left along the High Street and left onto Brockton - Do not try to ride this hill (unless you are an experienced cyclist) and take the 6 minute walk up the steepest and shortest hill out of the Gorge. The route then takes you to Brockton where you will turn RIGHT and then left to Ryton and on to Albrighton. On your way you will pass David Austin Roses, famous for their smelly roses. Pop in for a browse or a cup of English tea in their lovely tea room.
The ride continues and loops around the A41 to give you the best entrance to Cosford Air Museum which has FREE entry and will require 1 to 2 hours.
Leave the museum and turn left out of the main entrance. Follow the road and turn left just by the bridge of the M54 to skirt past Shifnal and through the village of Kemberton. Follow your route back via Brockton to the Bicycle Hub. Total distance 23 miles
