Our bicycles are mainly 7 speed hub geared and 27 speed hybrid bikes for use on road and cycle tracks. None of our bicycles are suitable for cross-country or mountain biking work.

If you require the bike for more than one day a 30% discount is applied for extra days.
*Tandems: hire charge includes 20 minute instruction and practice session to ensure that you are confident and safe to ride. Although we do specify riders should be over 16 years old, we can make an objective assessment of riders aged 16 and allow them to ride if accompanied by adults. ONLY available from Bicycles by Design in Jackfield, Ironbridge Gorge.
Please note that a booking-in time of 5 to 10 minutes is required so please be patient or preferably book ahead of your visit.
For tandems, children's bikes, trailers, trailer bikes and groups larger than 4 people it is essential that you book ahead of your visit.
You will need to bring photo ID with your address on it when you collect the bicycle with your residential address on it. We don't take a deposit but we do ask you to authorise a charge on your credit or debit card (similar to booking a hotel room no money is charged to your card). Please remember that you are responsible for the items you hire and should anything be returned damaged or items missing, you will be charged for the replacement retail value of items/parts.
