Bicycle Hire in the World Heritage Site of the Ironbridge GorgeExplore the Ironbridge Gorge by bike. We are at the heart of a World Heritage Site packed with history, industry and amazing nature. You can ride for miles on old railway lines with no steep gradients and no traffic. Or explore the highways and byways of South Shropshire. Choose to hire from our fleet of quality bicycles from £15 per bike per day. We also hire children's bikes, trailer bikes and child trailers from £10 per day. Tandems are also available from £40 per. Hire cost includes 20 minute instruction and practice to ensure that you are confident and safe to ride. Pre-booked school groups are eligible for a 50% discount on full and half day hire prices.
Our hire day runs from 1000hrs to 1700hrs. Monday to Saturday inclusive. Although please arrive from 0930hrs to book in and collect bikes. You will need to bring a UK Driving License with photo ID or a Domestic bill with your residential address when you collect your hire. If you are international then we will retain your passport until completion of your hire.
We do not require a deposit for hiring unless it is pre booked of which a non refundable deposit of £25 is to be made. When hiring we do ask you to authorise a charge on your credit or debit card should any damage or loss occur to the bicycles or other equipment. If for any reason our staff feel that a potential customer is incapable of safely riding any of our hire bikes or may endanger other members of the public or property including the hire bikes and equipment, then hire may be refused.
